want to hook toshiba laptop w HDMI to my proscan tv
i have my HDMI cord plugged into my toshiba laptop and my proscan tv. I have no clue what to do next so i can view my laptop thru my tv :(

Right-click on the desktop, click screen resolution, on the window that opens up, near the top will be a "detect" button. Press that, and it should detect the TV as a second monitor.
